This blog is a companion to the book 'The Women Who Built Bristol'.

The book contains stories about more than 250 sheroic women who helped shape Bristol into the city it is today. But clearly there are many more than 250 wonderful women in Bristol's past and this is a place to record those who escaped entry in the book.

Criteria for inclusion is that the woman must have some connection to the city and no longer be alive. Please comment if you feel we have missed someone.
